Winter Rate

Terms & Conditions

We have closed as an accommodation provider in May 2017. Thank you very much for visiting our site - this local website offers many accommodations available on the Otago Peninsula. 

 

Booking Procedure: A deposit of 50% of the total booking with credit card details is required to confirm your reservation. We accept Eftpos, direct deposit, MasterCard, Visa. The balance is deducted upon guest departure.

Cancellation Policy: The majority of our reservations are made over 6 months in advance and cancellations do have an impact on us as a rural boutique accommodation. We highly recommend guests arrange travel insurance in the case of unforeseen cancellations.  Cancellation within 60 days of arrival date, or a no show, incurs a 100% forfeit of the first 3 nights of guest stay, or, the total booking price if 2 nights or less.  

Use of the Property: The Property is a residential dwelling within the Papanui Inlet community. The Property is to be used strictly as a residential dwelling for residential purposes by the Guest(s) and the number of occupants nominated on the Guest Registration Form. The Property is not to be used for any other purpose or by any greater number of occupants. The use of the Property for a function, a party or other like gathering is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Arrival: From 2pm. Arrival Instructions will be provided at time of booking confirmation.

Check-out: By 10.30am.

  • Alternative Arrival & Departure times must be made by prior arrangement.
  • We highly recommend you arrive before 5.00pm nightfall during winter months May - September.

Wedding & Day-hire: Available as a small group venue for up to 8 persons.

Child Policy: Family friendly, children under the age of 8 years are welcome, outdoor supervision is required. Port a cot available.

Additional Services: Pre book the Elm Wildlife small group wildlife tour, up to 3 hours observation, with return transfers from the gate 130 NZD per person.
